The business sections of the building are located in an older structure first built in 1891, and which was expanded after World War II. It includes a basement, ground floor, two upper floors, and an attic. The older part of the building consists of the ground floor and two upper floors with a neo-baroque 15th-century facade.
The attic as well as the western section of the building were added at a later date. The part of the building dating from 1891 is protected as a cultural heritage site and is listed in the Register of Cultural Heritage under (number) EID 1-15790 – Hiša Slovenska 40. The building is situated in a continuous row of buildings lying to the northwest of the Cathedral Church, on the left bank of the Drava River.
The building is registered in the cadastre of buildings. The property is used for business activities and currently houses offices.
